Season of Discovery in WoW Classic brings a plethora of changes, including class reworks, Runes, and the Blackfathom Deeps raid WoW SoD Gold. However, there are also minor features introduced, such as Waylaid Supplies, along with two new factions called Durotar Supply and Logistics (Horde) and Azeroth Commerce Authority (Alliance).
Turning in shipments of Waylaid Supplies to your local Supply Officer will grant you reputation with one of these factions. By earning enough reputation, you unlock access to various useful items, including gear, bags, and even Runes. You can turn in regular Waylaid Shipments or enhance them with missing items to create Full Shipments, which offer more rewards in terms of cash and experience.
Creating Full Shipments of Waylaid Supplies can be challenging as they require resources, consumables, or gear pieces that are typically obtained through professions or the auction house. While you can purchase most of these items, it is often more beneficial to farm them yourself. Doing so not only allows you to complete Waylaid Supply quests easily but also enables you to sell excess goods for a profit. This comprehensive guide will walk you through each profession in the game and provide a list of associated items that can be used to complete Waylaid Supplies quests.
Alchemy:
Elixirs of Firepower are valuable, so it's not recommended to use them for Waylaid Supplies quests, especially since you need at least 15 of them to fill a shipment. It's better to fill shipments with Potions and either sell or use the Elixirs if you're a Mage DPS or a Warlock DPS.
Blacksmithing:
Crafting Blacksmithing gear can be costly if you don't have a steady supply of materials. Fortunately, you only need a few items to fill most types of Waylaid Supplies shipments. We suggest focusing on crafting Runed Copper Pants until you reach Friendly reputation, and then exclusively crafting Silver Skeleton Keys until Honored. Skeleton Keys are not only cheaper to buy but can also be crafted in pairs if you choose to make them yourself.
Cooking:
Cooking is an excellent profession for farming reputation with Durotar Supply and Logistics or Azeroth Commerce Authority. There are plenty of dishes to work with, and most of the required items can be purchased or crafted at a low cost. For reaching Honored, Goblin Deviled Clams are the best option, as you only need 8 of them to fill a shipment.
Enchanting:
Farming reputation using Enchanting items can be challenging since most of them can only be used by Enchanters, making them scarce at the auction house. The exception is Lesser Magic Wands. Unless you're an Enchanter yourself, it's better to use items crafted by other professions to reach Honored with your faction.
Engineering:
Regardless of whether you're an Engineer or not, you can use Rough Copper Bombs to fill Waylaid Supplies shipments and farm reputation inexpensively until you reach Friendly. After that, switch to crafting Ornate Spyglasses until you hit Honored. Small Bronze Bombs are expensive, so it's not cost-effective to waste them on shipments.
First Aid:
First Aid is worth picking up regardless of your class or specialization. You'll acquire plenty of cloth by killing humanoid mobs, so it's best to use it to fill Waylaid Supplies shipments, especially if you're not a Tailor.
Fishing:
Unfortunately, fishing enthusiasts face limitations when it comes to farming reputation with Durotar Supply and Logistics or Azeroth Commerce Authority. The only item available for filling Waylaid Supplies shipments is Brilliant Smallfish, which only grants reputation up to Friendly. In other words, you can't maximize your reputation solely through Fishing.
By following this guide and leveraging your chosen profession, you can efficiently gather the required items to complete Waylaid Supplies shipments and earn reputation with the Durotar Supply and WoW Classic SoD Gold for sale Logistics or Azeroth Commerce Authority factions. Remember, farming the items yourself not only facilitates quest completion but also presents opportunities for profitable sales of surplus goods. Good luck on your journey in WoW Classic: Season of Discovery!
